With the successful return of Diskupils, we are excited to have professors Thorgeir Kolshus and Nefissa Naguib on board for our fourth, and last for 2023, Diskupils, on Tuesday, December 12th.
💥 What is diskupils, you’re asking?
It’s a casual meeting where students and lecturers at the department meet at a bar, the lecturers tell students a bit about their work, either previous or current research, students ask questions, we have a sip of a preferred beverage, and we all have a good time!
This was done in pre-pandemic times, but also a few times on zoom during the pandemic. We now want to bring this back to its «original state.»
This is a low-bar (pun intended) event, for students to meet with professors in a less serious setting.
